AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) was founded in 1964 and its headquarters is based in Hawthorne, California. AYSO is a nationwide, registered, non-profit organization divided into Sections, Areas, and Regions. The organization is dedicated to youth soccer and, at the Regional level, entirely relies on volunteers for its operation. (Did you know… we have over 200 registered volunteers during the fall season!)
We are Region 166, based in Sparks, Nevada. Region 166 is one of 13 Regions that make up Area E, which is part of a larger AYSO Section 2. Sparks Region 166 was established in 1978 and has been going strong ever since.
Our region incorporates programs for children from ages 4-18. Additionally, we host a regional VIP program for children and adults with disabilities. 500 kids play soccer during our spring program, and 800 players participate in our fall season. We look forward to having you be a part of our program!
Each region is supervised by a Regional Commissioner and local board of directors – all of which are volunteers.
E-mail is the preferred and quickest method of contact.
