American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Torrance, California. AYSO is a nationwide, not-for-profit, youth soccer organization divided into Sections, Areas, and Regions.
AYSO Region 166 is based in Sparks, Nevada and was established in 1978. Our region is one of sixteen that form AYSO Area 2-E, which is part of a much larger AYSO Section 2.
AYSO is dedicated to youth soccer and, at the regional level, relies entirely on volunteers for its operation. Our AYSO Region 166 has over 200 registered volunteers during our fall program! Each region is supervised by a Regional Commissioner and local board of directors–all of whom are volunteers.
Our region incorporates programs for children from ages 4-18. We also host a regional VIP program for children and adults with disabilities. In total, about 400 kids play soccer during our spring program and over 800 players participate in our fall programs.
E-mail is the preferred and quickest method of contact. And if you’d like to speak over the phone, go ahead and e-mail your phone number to us.
