Sparks AYSO Region 166 Registration Information

Late Registration Instruction:

Please be advised that regular registrations have taken place and all players being registered from this point on will be placed on a waiting list.  That does not mean your child will not necessarily be placed on a team.  If we have available spots on a team, then we will place your child on that team.  If we have enough players on a waiting list and a parent volunteer to coach them, then a new team will be formed.  Please follow the instructions below carefully and most importantly, contact the Division Coordinator after you have pre-registered on line – this is the only way we know you have a child wanting to play.  The division coordinator will let you know where your standings are and what procedures to follow.

Here’s what you do:

1.                   Pre-Register online at eayso.org,  print 4 copies of the registration form and sign & date all 4 copies.

2.                   Next, go back to sparksayso.org and follow the Kid Zone link to the Kids Zone Pledge      Form.  Print 1 copy for each child registered and sign & date where indicated.

3.                   Contact the appropriate Division Coordinator for your child’s age group by following the Board of Directors link on our home page.  The coordinator will let you know the status of the openings for your division.  (Please be patient, they will get in touch with you just as quickly as they can). 

4.                   If your child is being placed on a team, remember to bring 4 signed & dated copies of the completed registration forms, 1 copy per child of the signed and dated Kids Zone Pledge Form, your child’s birth certificate (a copy is fine), and the registration fee to your arranged meeting with the division coordinator.

5.                   If you are interested in volunteering (which we highly encourage!) as a coach, referee,          team mom, etc., your division coordinator will get you a volunteer form and get you         signed up!  Remember, this organization is only as successful as its volunteers!

Sorry, but no on line payments can be completed online yet. Late registration fee is $100 per player with a $5 discount for each player pre-registered online.  There is no multi-player discount. Our VIP player registration will remain at a flat rate of $45 per player with no discounts.  (VIP-for kids with special needs)

Important:

If you have volunteered for a position (coach, referee, team parent…) please remember that a volunteer form must have been completed and turned in to your coordinator. You must also be Safe Haven certified and complete the necessary coach/referee clinic if applicable prior to the season starting.

Also, please note that some divisions have had an above average number of coaches volunteer. It’s a great position for the league to be in, but it also means not everyone that wants to coach will be able to coach. If you have not been contacted yet about coaching this season, please get in touch with the Division Coordinator for the age group you are interested in coaching and double check that you were not accidently over looked.
