FAQ

As a parent, you play a special role in contributing to the needs and development of your child.  AYSO developed a simple Code of Conduct to help us as parents to teach our children about sportsmanship. The Code of Conduct reminds us to:

1)      Support our child by giving encouragement to them and their team.

2)      Always be a positive role model

3)      Reinforce positive behavior

4)      Not be a sideline coach or referee

5)      Remember: Your child wants to have fun.

Through your encouragement and good example, you can help ensure that all boys and girls learn good sportsmanship and self-discipline.  In addition, each child will become more physically fit and healthy, all while having fun!

WHAT IS KIDS ZONE?

Kids Zone is a fantastic program initiated by AYSO, in 2000, to eliminate negative sideline behavior.  It is aimed toward producing a positive impact on everyone involved in youth soccer.  In order to make this program work, however, we need everyone’s help.

As a parent we are asking you to:

1)      Read, sign, and follow the Kids Zone Pledge Form stating that you will support      our program and your kids.

2)      Read the signs posted on the fields and abide by these standards.

3)      Remember the Code of Conduct

With everyone’s involvement we will give our children, and ourselves, the added benefit of the love of the game.

That is what AYSO is all about!
