FALL 2008 is approaching

Region 166, Sparks, Nevada
All volunteers must complete two things before becoming a Coach in AYSO. First, from a computer go to www.eayso.org and complete a volunteer application form for Region 166. Print three copies of the application and bring them when you register your child for fall 2008. Your application will be processed along with your child’s player registration form. (If you don’t have access to a computer you will have to fill out a volunteer form at registration. However, until a volunteer registration form is filled out and verified you will not be allowed to coach in AYSO.
Second, you must attend the Safe Haven for coaches. This is a 3-hour course that’s required for all volunteers who sign up to coach and/or assistant coach a team in AYSO. (you only need to take this course one time)
If you have coaching certifications from another AYSO region you need to contact crissiehull@ayso.org or call 1-800-872-2976 Ext 5476. Once you have registered in our region as a volunteer she will transfer your certifications to REGION 166 and email them to you. Then just present them to our Coach Administrator for approval. Otherwise you will have to attend one of our clinics listed below. You can signup for any of them online or at our registrations in April and May 2008. Each volunteer who attends will get a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION at the end of the course. Keep it with you at all times while on the field working in our region.
REGION 166 will not allow anyone to coach without being certified in an AYSO COACHING CLINIC.
